Couples Therapy

Both Tim Rice and Kate Hall offer couples therapy

Tim:

I work with TCC as an individual and couples therapist alongside my work with Relate.

I often work with couples who want to improve their relationship. This could be those who want to stay together as well as those who want to manage their separation or divorce in the most thoughtful way, including doing their best for any children. Individuals too may be having troubles in their personal life or experiencing pressure at work. Whatever the circumstance, I firmly believe that it’s best to talk.

I use an integrative counselling approach. This draws on different therapeutic styles, including emotionally focused therapy (EFT), so I can use whichever is best for you. The therapeutic relationship we build is at the heart of this.

Kate:

I am a specialist relationship and couples counsellor having trained at Tavistock Relationships, the leading centre of excellence for couple psychotherapy.

Couples might seek help for a specific issue, such as going through a life transition whether that is moving in together, becoming parents, retiring, bereavement, or facing illness. You might be struggling to communicate with your partner about your needs, feeling lonely or anxious within your relationship, or there might have been an affair.

I offer couples and individuals a safe and non-judgemental space to explore anxieties and concerns and how you have come to be where you are now. I offer both time-limited therapy and long term weekly therapy.
