It’s really tough to find an approach to well-being in law firms that hits the spot.
Having said that, working with law firms of all shapes and sizes over the past 5 years has shown me that there’s a lot of common ground in the issues that firms face. And a lot of knowledge that needs to be shared.
That’s why I’ve set up the City Well-being Hub. A place where those responsible for people & well-being in law firms can get together & exchange ideas.
I’m thrilled that, for our inaugural meeting on 5 Dec, we’ll be joined by Stephen Bevan and our spotlight will be on illness at work, specifically chronic, long-term and terminal illness. And what firms need to know about how to deal with such situations.
Stephen is the Head of HR Research Development at the Institute of Employment Studies and will be speaking to us from both a professional and personal perspective, as someone who is a specialist on the subject and as someone who has cancer himself.
Some of his articles and studies are below and are really helpful reading.
