What a thrill to win the Kindness/Well-being Award at last night’s Resolution Manchester Awards!

This award was for our work at The Carvalho Consultancy in supporting family lawyers in Manchester through therapy, training and coaching. From people who’ve walked in their shoes!

It was great to meet so many lawyers in real life who I tend to only see on social media. And to make some new friends.

Thank you to Andrew Moore Rose-Marie Drury Nigel Shepherd and the Mills & Reeve | Family and children team for inviting me, the nomination and for allowing me to be an honorary Mills & Reeve-er for the night. Fab to se Alison Bull winning Lawyer/Partner of the Year as well.

Well done to Joanne Radcliff and the committee for organising a brilliant event.

And to my fellow nominees, the lovely and talented Joe Ailion and Rachel Jones.

Very aptly, the chosen charity for the evening was Bolton Lads and Girls Club’s Youth Counselling Service. A much-needed service which, unthinkably, will be closed this month unless they can raise thousands to save it.

To put this into context, we’re talking about a service that helps countless kids, including children as young as 8, with issues such as suicidal thoughts.

Please support them if you can https://lnkd.in/enM3hsjJ
