My goal is to help people understand themselves and others better – that helps us to be better lawyers and happier people.
I love connecting with people as a trainer and the creative process involved with designing training programmes.
I understand the reality of having a high-intensity career so my approach to training, while grounded in psychological theory, is practical and down to earth.
My sessions are designed to be collaborative. During your training I share my own experiences, which helps to provoke discussion and always try to make my audience laugh (or at least nod in recognition!).
I offer bespoke and ‘off the shelf’ workshops. Recent seminars I’ve given include:
- The Psychology of Family Law
- Practising Law in a Covid-19 world
- Tackling anxiety and stress in law
- Managing difficult relationships
- Boundaries and how to decompress from work
I’m happy to answer enquiries about training opportunities and provide fee quotes on request.
“It is rare to find a training workshop that helps practitioners on both a personal and professional level, but Annmarie delivers just that. She connects with participants on a personal and genuine level, and generously shares her own “lived” experiences. It is easy to come away from training workshops with theoretical ideas only; Annmarie’s training goes much further, and I left with a clear idea as to how I could put such skills and ideas into practice to help both my clients and myself. Her training should form an essential part of a practitioner’s toolkit when helping clients navigate difficult and traumatic periods. I could not recommend Annmarie more highly.”
