I believe that finding the right person to speak with is about the person rather than the label. That’s why I have trained in a variety of skills, so I can support my clients in the way that best works for them.

I am both a psychotherapist and an executive coach, and I have experience up to partner level within a central London law firm.

For many years, I worked from trainee to partner level in the Trust Disputes team at Farrer & Co LLP in Central London. I was in the top-rated Private Wealth team and had very broad experience working in different jurisdictions and appearing at the UK Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and Privy Council. After moving up North I worked as a Legal Director at a Manchester firm and have also worked as a consultant. This has given me a great insight, over two decades, into different areas of legal practice at all levels of law firm life.

I now work full-time as a psychotherapist and a coach both online and in person (in both London and Cheshire).

I combine coaching and psychotherapeutic approaches to achieve the best results for clients. Coaching is effective in empowering change and addressing roadblocks in the “now”, while psychotherapy allows us to work through patterns and issues at depth. I have specific training in combining psychotherapy and coaching, and in working with ADHD (both in adults and young people), drawing on my lived experience with my own family.

One of my particular interests is working with professionals who are seeking to uncover a sense of meaning, depth or spirituality in their life and work. I am currently completing a master’s degree (part time) in integrative psychology, which looks at this “deeper” level (drawing on psychoanalysis, critical psychology, mindfulness approaches and transpersonal theories).  I am both practical and draw on existential and spiritual/transpersonal elements when clients would like this. This existential/spiritual side is often an important “pillar” when working with neurodiversity.

Every client is different, but I tend to combine some structure and exercises from coaching, which aim to generate some sense of positive momentum, with a grounded, relational and non-judgmental therapeutic space to work through issues together. Having lived through many of the issues that clients bring – and practiced in high-pressure settings – I get what you’re going through and love helping clients reach their goals.

Different personalities.
Shared Ethos.
