William Walker
I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with specialist experience working with couples and individuals experiencing relationship and personal difficulties.

Seeking therapy shows courage in the depths of conflict and the state of unknowing. Sometimes it can seem very hard to cope independently with life’s difficulties. With work, family, and day-to-day life, finding someone with the time, willingness and objectivity to lend an empathetic ear can be difficult. I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with specialist experience working with couples and individuals experiencing relationship and personal difficulties.
I have been specifically trained in couple therapy at internationally renowned Tavistock Relationships, a leading institute for psychotherapy and relationships. I specialise in divorce and separation, as well as Mentalisation Based Therapy.
I provide a reflective space to think together about your anxieties and explore how past experiences may affect your current relationships and interactions with others. Through our exploration, we can develop different ways to improve communication and facilitate a greater understanding of your relationships with others and yourself.
You will be surprised at how much emotional and other energy can be freed up due to overcoming these obstacles. This newly found energy can then be diverted to more positive aspects of your life: your marriage/relationship, your job, your aims and your ambitions.
I have a caring, compassionate character and aim to assist others trying to conquer inner conflicts amid external realities that get in the way of promoting your mental health and well-being and achieving your goals. I am comfortable and have experience working with diverse clients with differences across culture, gender, sexuality, religion, and race.
